Area High school teams ranked in latest KBCA polls

After the first full week of competiton last week, several area schools enter this weeks Kasnas Basketball Coaches Association rankings.

For the first time this year, the Hugoton boys enter as the No. 8 team in Class 4A. Holcomb’s boys are third and the girls are fourth in Class 3A. Class 1A, Division 1 features the Hodgeman County girls at No. 4, while Spearville are ranked sixth and seventh respectively, and the Greeley County boys are eighth.. Class 1A, Division 2 has the Bucklin girls No. 2, Dighton sixth and Ashland eighth, while on the boys side, Ingalls is No. 8 and Deerfield is ranked ninth.
