Drought montor shows Drought 0 to Drought 1 conditions in area
According to latest Kansas Drought monitor, the drought across southwest Kansas is showing mostly Drought 0 conditions, meaning it is abnormally dry. Parts of the area are in the D1, which is a moderate drought.
The weekly kansas drought monitor is showing D2 conditions appear in northwest Kansas, which is in the severe drought status. Central Kansas seeing relief from D2 conditions in area last week.
