Elkhart man dies in single rollover crash

Morton County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–An Elkhart man died as the result of a rollover crash just before 8 am on Sunday, about 1 1/2 miles east of Kansas Highway 27 on Morton County Road F.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Report, 52-year-old Sean Glenn Bookstore of Elkhart was eastbound in a 2001 Dodge Ram on Morton County Road F, when he went partially into the south ditch, over corrected and entered a side skid. Bookstore then re-entered the south ditch where it rolled an unknown number of times, coming to rest on its top and facing south. He was ejected and the pickup landed on top of him.

Bookstore was pronounced deceased at the scene and was transported to Robson Funeral Home.

The KHP report says that Bookstore was not wearing a seatbelt.
