Scott City repeats as GWAC tennis champions

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Five GWAC schools made their way to Scott City on Monday for the league tennis meet, as they had their final tuneup for regional competition later this week.
Scott City would continue to their dominance in the league, as they would win the league for the fourth straight time, while Cimarron would finish second.
Cimarron’s Landon Housman would claim the Singles title, while Scott City’s Doubles team of Brody Strine/Brody Stoecklein would be the league champion. The top two placers in Singles and Doubles are designated All-League selections.
Class 4A Regional competition will be in Scott City on Saturday, while the 3-21A Regional meet will be in Dodge City, hosted by Meade.
