Southwest Kansas Storm get home win over Billings Outlaws

The Southwest Kansas Storm scored two defensive touchdowns on their way to a 49-31 win over the Billings Outlaws.
The game got off to a rough start for the Storm, as they were tackled at their own one yard line on the opening kickoff and threw four straight incompletions to begin the game, allowing Billings to score from one yard out on a one play drive.
After going down 7-0 quarterback Jalen Morton rushed into the end zone for his first of three rushing touchdowns to make it 7-6. Both teams scored once more as the score was tied 13-13, setting up the play of the night.
Billings quarterback Braden Wingle’s was intercepted by Keon Clary, and as a tackler was holding on to him, he pitched it to teammate Michael Lawson who took it the distance to put the storm up 20-13. The play propelled the Storm to a 29-18 halftime lead.
After the Outlaws got the ball after the kickoff, they moved down to the red zone before throwing a pass off of the goal post that was alertly picked off by Reggie Bracy, who returned it end zone to end zone for a pick six.
The Outlaws never could get back within one score, and the Storm improved to 5-3 on the year with the victory.
