Annual K-State Fry brings hundereds of Wildcat fans to Scott City

With the summer coming up quickly, the stop for the annual Scott City Fry took place Wednesday night at HRC Feedyards brought in nearly 300 Wildcat fans.

This year was a special year, where four of the head coaches were present to talk about their sports. Among the head coaches were new Men’s Basketball Coach Casey Alexander, new Football Coach Collin Klein, Women’s Basketball Coach Jeff Mittie and making his first trip to the event was head Track & Field Coach Travis Goepfert. Also several assistant football coaches, football GM Trey Scott and offensive lineman Gus Hawkins were in attendance. Representatives from the K-State Alumni Association also had the chance to talk.

Items were auctioned off to raise funds for the athletic department, including a picture of Collin Klein’s Sports Illustrated cover.
